Nobunaga 450 Digest (五)

Here we are for a "middle update" about the Nobu-related events of the 450th Anniversary of Gifu City!
Still a bit of Autumn before jumping into Winter, let's take a look to the events that we announced last time and the upcoming stuff.
Today's cover is related to the Nobunaga "Yume" Rakuichi market-event! It features the "jumbo paella" and Gifu PR Yukko Yanagase... But let's go in order!


Starting September 30 the Nobunaga-ko no Kakurega exhibition sported the artworks of "Ikusa no Ko" manga by Tetsuo Hara-sama.


It took me for ever to find some pictures, fortunately those blogs offered a few!
The exhibition will be up until December 24.

From October 21 to November 19, the Mount Kinka Park was covered in Chrysanthemums for the glory of Nobunaga.
The theme of the many kiku-ningyo was "Nobunaga enters Gifu".

As anticipated, the autumnal edition of the Nobunaga Rakuichi was held in Gifu Mediacosmos from November 11 to 19.
The "power word" was FOOD, so the main closing events featured the cooking and free eating of a giant jambalaya on Saturday, and a giant paella on Sunday--!
Yukko Yanagase, a Gifu Promoter, talked about the event on her blog, you can check it out here, and that's from where our "cover" comes.

The 11th edition of the Nobunaga-gaku Forum was scheduled for November 26.
Among the lectures, "Tenkanin and Sen'no Rikyu" by professor Kentaro Yabe and the panel discussion "Nobunaga and Sen'no Rikyu" featuring Yabe, Shigemitsu Hosoe and "history idol" Sakura Oguri, that made a post about it on her blog right here.
Here she's posing with the "KIZUNA Nobunaga" statue... It was created by the students of the local Junior High School and it's located at the entrance of Juuroku Plaza.

Today was another fateful day for the fan of Sengoku Musou videogame: the second Sengoku Musou Seiyuu Talk Show in GIFU took part at 13:00 hours and this time it featured Nobunaga's faithful retainers.
Just 320 people managed to attend the event, that showed the performance of Hikaru Midorikawa (Mitsuhide), Hideo Ishikawa (Hideyoshi), Naomi Shindo (Ranmaru), Eiji Takemoto (Katsuie) and Umeka Shoji (Takenaka Kanbei).

The upcoming events leave the taste of nostalgy, already!

First of all, the Nobunaga-ko Gallery that opened on July 13 is going to close on December 17.
Many events are scheduled during its "Last Week" as a sort of thanksgiving to the visitors; special events and gifts are going to be handed to the visitors.
The "Finale" is scheduled for December 17, from 16:00 to 18:00 hours, and it will star the Nobunaga-ko Omotenashi Busho-tai, Yukko Yanagase and Nobu-sama.
The first 200 visitors will receive a special clear file as a gift.

The closing event for the celebrations of Gifu city are scheduled for December 22, with the traditional Koyomi no Yobune ship parade on Nagarekawa, fireworks and the distribution of yummy yukidaru mazenzai for 450 lucky visitors!
Aaah, everything is already over!! Can you believe that a whole year passed away since my first post--?
